On Tuesday 29th July, we were delighted to welcome Alex Barros-Curtis, the new Labour MP for Cardiff West, to The Dusty Shed. As part of his commitment to engaging with local communities, Alex has been visiting organisations and groups across the area to understand how he can best support grassroots initiatives.
During his time with us, Alex also visited Action in Caerau and Ely’s Diana Garden Project on Hiles Road in Ely — a beautiful community garden first opened by Princess Diana in 1993.
We’re proud that The Dusty Shed has been able to contribute to local garden projects through a series of woodwork projects, supporting these vital green spaces that play a big role in local wellbeing.
